USEFUL

This site is OK for sheer volume of material but for a place called "chordie.com" they sure like to feature a lot of tabs for which, as I have told good2go, I have little enthusiasm. Plus, you can't trust all the chords as they chart them - more than a few are plain wrong.

On the other hand, I have a lot of enthusiasm for these items, noted by Birdman, but I do not have the payroll. You can really zoom in on the photos.

This is a good band from Brooklyn.

FOURNIER GETS AWARD

If you have read any Damfacrats material, then you know that the AP's Fournier is one of the most obvious whores for the Bushies. He got an award for it, what a surprise.

I'M NOT SCARED

When you read this story you realize there is not one new idea in it. It's the same old t'rriss' tale. Every detail released by the government matches some other story ...same buildings...plotting for years...plans of buildings found in their possession... a mass destruction charge that really doesn't pan out ...no activity by the t'rrsss' since AApril of 2001 ... gub'mnt says the buildings went back to yellah 'lert right after the 'lection, whatcha make of that?

I work right around the corner from the stock exchange and I'm not scared.

?Que onda, guero?

HALF MAST

Flying American flags at half mast for the Pope is about as creepy as saying the Pledge of Allegiance during mass. Bleh.

HIGH WATER

Get used to it. Global warming isn't helping when it comes to the highest waters since 1904.

Perhaps the most effective use of the w'r on t'rr is the distraction from that about which we really need to worry.

OIL HIGHEST PRICE EVER

That conquest of an oil rich country is working out great. AIG stock took a beating; they've paid my fees before. Nothing to see here, move along past those two all important coffins, ignore the rest.

OFFENDING EVERYBODY

I seem to be in the mood for it lately, so, allow me to repeat my friend's comment on the Pope's death: "they better make sure that whoever they get to replace him doesn't like to bang little boys."

MY HONEST OPINION

I'm glad Terri Schiavo is dead because I believe she would have wanted to be dead. I say "would have" because at the time of her death she wasn't capable of thinking at all. Plus, the courts looked at all the facts and heard all the smart-lawyer arguments from both sides and they made the hard decision. Respect it or go get your nooses, you crackers.

I got guys trying to give me little pamphlets about Terri at the subway station, sayin' "save Terri" and I want to get right in their post-alcoholic wrinkled Jeebus-reformed faces and tell them to fuck off, this is New York City, we don't need your right-wing piss-on-the-courts activism around here, but I don't because this is New York City and all the freaks belong.

My honest opinion? The Pope is next. I, and about 5.9 billion other people, I mean, like 92% of the world or something, don't give a fuck. I'm sorry but if this man and his church are the ones who speaak for God then that's no God I want to worship.

Respect for life? These fat ass Congressmembers pouring half a trillion dollrs into the military death industry and they want me to respect some vegetable's life? The fact is I do respect it and that's why it's OK that it is gone - it wasn't worth the contents of the bedpan beneath her. RIP.

OPEN LETTER TO JESTERSTAR

Hey star

I understand what withdrawal is...there was a time when the news and the blog were a 24/7 obsession for me...right now, I'm tryin to focus on practicing the law, making some money and finding a totally sweet apartment somewhere ... not to mention the females ...

so anyway, you know the deal, there are no aliens in Washington (probably), just inhuman corporate cyberdorks lying about everything and dicking the taxpayer at every turn, with a bullet in the chamber just in case the people wake up to what is really happening ... the farce of an election squashed a big part of my will to face down the truth about our government at all times ... apparently, it falls on deaf ears (yours notwithstanding) ... if you want to understand the news you can always check out some of the blogger links on the right, especially those who link to me ... all of them are people who constantly help me understand what is up ...

as far as I know, you got life pretty well figured out, given the company you keep (and you know who i mean) ... sometimes I miss The Cuse a lot and i always look forward to my return at some point so you and I can ponder how the world has changed since my departure and how it has remained, and will forever remain, the same ...

RUN AGROUND

Thanks to everybody who checks in and to all who have spied this blog over the past 18 months or so but this ship isn't going anywhere lately. A point arrives where a blog is just not a blog anymore.

I'll be showing up every now and then, here and at the blogs of others, so I guess it's "see ya later."

In the meantime, here's hoping for peace.
